When Should You Book a Service?
info
Book a service if it has been more than 12 months or 10,000 km since your last service, before any long trip, after purchasing a new or used caravan, if you notice unusual noises or handling, or after extended storage.
We recommend a 16-point service every 10,000 kilometres or at least once a year, whichever comes first. If your caravan has been sitting idle for an extended period, a service before your next trip is essential to ensure everything is safe and roadworthy.
Our 16-point service covers all critical safety and mechanical components: wheel bearings, brakes and bearings adjustment, U-bolts and shackles, chassis inspection, suspension lubrication, jockey wheel and clamp, stabilisers, brake drum condition, coupling and hand brake, spare wheel, safety chain, tyres and tyre pressure, wheel studs and nuts, door step operation, external lights, pop-top runner lubrication (if applicable), and breakaway system testing.
The 56-point service includes everything in the 16-point service plus a comprehensive inspection of all internal and external appliances, gas systems, electrical systems (both 12V and 240V), plumbing, water tanks, hot water system, air conditioning, refrigeration, windows, seals, roof condition, and all cabinetry and fixtures. This thorough check ensures your entire caravan is in full working order.
A standard 16-point service typically takes between 2 to 4 hours depending on the condition of your caravan. A comprehensive 56-point service may take a full day or longer if any issues are discovered that require attention. We will always contact you before performing any additional work.
